The Stud

View from Wartberg 2009

Our stud is located in the heritage-protected buildings of our more than 200 years old farm. At the moment our stables include 18 boxes and a large group box for the young stock in the old barn. In addition we have 4 places in an open stable. Most of our grassland is located directly on the farm at the nearby hill “Wartberg”. During summer-time most of the Welsh Cobs and horses are in the fields day and night. In winter-time we have a special ‘winter field’ and some paddocks giving us the possibility of keeping the horses outside.
In addition to our riding corral we also have a riding hall (15m x 30m) which was built in the year 2000. Our little village Kirchberg nestles in wonderful scenery with lots of woodland, ideal for riding or driving. The photo above was taken from the nearby hill “Wartberg” and shows you the village of Kirchberg. In the front you can see our farm with the riding hall. You can also see our photovoltaic energy system on the roofs of the old barn and riding stable.
